Jennifer Philips
Founder
Jennifer is a dedicated parent, advocate, and nonprofit leader committed to meaningful autism advocacy. As Founder of Make A Stand 4 Autism, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, she leads initiatives under the mission “Unlocking Potential in Autism through Advocacy, Research, and Education.” In this role, she oversees strategic direction, operations, and community engagement, driving meaningful change for those on the autism spectrum and their families.
Her advocacy journey began with her own daughter’s diagnosis of regressive autism, which sparked a passion for championing research and policy that improve quality of life and expand opportunities for those with limited or no verbal communication. She has served in multiple roles, including Director of Communications for N of One: Autism Research Foundation, educator in the field of child development, and founder of advocacy programs that connect families with vital resources.
Jennifer focuses her work on advocating for individuals with profound autism, striving to identify impactful solutions efficiently and effectively. She is deeply committed to fostering collaboration between researchers, clinicians, and the autism community to accelerate progress.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies with a concentration in Child Development from the University of North Texas.
